Volunteer Opportunities are available at the Area Agency on Aging’s Benefits Enrollment Center!
Volunteers are needed in Palm Beach County to help in the following capacities:
As an application specialist you will be trained to help screen seniors and adults with disabilities identify and apply for 5 core benefit programs for low income Medicare Beneficiaries.
Benefit Programs include:
- Medicare Savings Program (MSP)
- Medicare Part D Extra Help/Low Income Subsidy Program (LIS)
- SNAP/Food Stamps
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
Perform various administrative tasks in the West Palm Beach office such as phone calls, photocopies, and filing.
Attend scheduled community events. Provide attendees with information and literature to promote the Area Agency on Aging and BEC program.
