The Honda Classic has 25 different volunteer positions to choose from to assist with a week long PGA TOUR Golf Tournament.
The Honda Classic through our host charity, The Honda Classic Cares, is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization which helps to support over 100+ local charities with our biggest benefactor being Nicklaus Children’s Healthcare Foundation. Last year, The Honda Classic , donated $5.1 million to local charities.
The Honda Classic Cares. Our true mission is giving back to the children of the community. While the tournament strives to provide Palm Beach County with a premier professional sporting event, the ultimate goal is to positively impact youth in need and create a brighter future for our community.
Training sessions and orientation meetings are held 1-2 weeks prior to the event dates each year. Our 2020 event dates are February 24th – March 1st.
No specific qualifications are needed for most volunteer positions.
Work shifts are generally 6-8 hours/day and a minimum of 18 hours are required for the week of the event.
A volunteer fee is required and you will receive a volunteer package consisting of one Honda Classic golf shirt, hat, name badge, lanyard and two weekly ticket books for the event. A package valued over $400. Following the tournament, if you have worked the required number of shifts/hours, you will receive two complimentary rounds of golf at any of the five PGA National Resort & Spa golf courses, including the Champion Course, home of The Honda Classic.
