Volunteer Needed:

Work as part of a caring team of professionals and/or retirees who provide a cheerful, non-judgmental, empathic voice to homebound lonely seniors who need daily contact to check on their well-being and uplift their spirits.

We improve the lives of seniors by uplifting their spirits as well as providing a life-saving service. We have provided intervention when a senior has fallen or is ill and in need of emergency services.

At-risk seniors having the service also gives them a sense of independence and safety, enabling them to continue living independently in their own home.

Training is provided on the job and a supervisor is always available.

A background in customer service or social services is desirable. Personal or professional experience working with seniors is preferred. A compassionate and positive personality is essential.

Weekdays: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Weekends: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
