Karin Edwards, V.P. of Career & Employment Services, has over 15 years of career development experience. Karin has created and facilitated hundreds of workshops, seminars, and lectures. She has experience in career coaching, career assessments, resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, virtual training, networking, branding, professional development, salary negotiation, and out-placement services.

Ms. Edwards has a Bachelor of Science in Communication, and a Master’s in Education Leadership, is a certified career coach, and job developer, and just recently obtained a National Certification in Online Profile Expert (LinkedIn). She is a member of the Career Directors International Association (CDI), the Professional Association of Resume Writers (PARW), the National Résumé Writers Association (NRWA), and the Florida Career Development Association.

Brittany Glazier, Career Strategist/Job Developer, has spent almost 25 years working in career and employment services. She has served as a Director of Career Services, Assistant Dean of Students, Faculty, Career Counselor, Assistant Director of Co-op and Career Counseling.

3rd Annual Wisdom & Experience Works For Business Awards

The 3rd Annual Wisdom & Experience Works For Business Awards event will be held Thursday, Sept. 21, at 8:30 AM at the Airport Hilton in West Palm Beach. Beginning in March, invitations to nominate Age-Friendly Employers will begin as well as invitations to sponsor the event. As in previous years, nominees and sponsors will have their job boards posted on the Encore website so that 50+ job seekers will be able to find those employers that welcome mature workers. Rosemary R. Nixon Scholarship

The Board of Directors of Encore Palm Beach County has established The Rosemary R. Nixon Scholarship in 2022 In honor of Rosemary who founded EncorePBC in 2017. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist older adults (aged 50 or better) who are full-time residents of Palm Beach County with funding to assist them with an educational and/or vocational award to allow them to reach their full potential in either employment or an entrepreneurial or volunteer endeavor.
